August 10, 2025. Prices for Maui rental cars are down in the shoulder season range for economy/compact cars, mid-size cars, Jeeps, convertibles, and even SUV's. But prices for minivans, although down a bit, are still much higher than normal, due to the minivan recall. Be sure to check last minute prices, they have been lower than advance reservations.
