Maui Rental Car Prices Are Going Nuts For Thanksgiving And Christmas Will Be Even Worse

Nov. 24, 2025. Prices on rental cars in Maui spiked upward for this Thanksgiving week. The cheapest car from the airport was $360/week, small SUV's were pushing $1,000/week, Minivans from Kahului Airport were completely sold out. Off-airport minivans were over $1,000/week. Christmas, is looking even worse: prices are already sky-high, with some companies beginning to sell out of everything.
