Nov. 24, 2025. Maui car rental prices spiked upward for this Thanksgiving week. The cheapest car from the airport was $360/week, small SUV's were pushing $1,000/week, Minivans from Kahului Airport were completely sold out. Off-airport minivans were over $1,000/week. Christmas, is looking even worse: prices are already sky-high, with some companies beginning to sell out of everything.
