First Look At 2026: Prices Start Off 20% Higher Than 2025

Jan. 12, 2026. Prices for Maui rental cars fell from their Christmas/New year's peak, but are maintaining a level about 20% higher than one year ago, with the cheapest cars available to rent from Maui's Kahului Airport (OGG) more than $100/day. Higher prices are expected to hold for the coming weeks through February. Booking in advance is advised. Last-minute prices are expected to stay significantly higher than prices booked in advance.
